Saturday's Bogey Competition

Robert Fisher was all square against the course in Saturday's bogey competition, taking top spot in Division 1. In second was Kevin McGregor who was 1 down against the course while Ryan Beach was 2 down in third. In Division 2, Jon Helme ended the round 2 up against the course, claiming first spot. In second place was Steve Whiteland who was all sqaure, while Graham Smith was third, 1 down against the course.

Sunday's Individual Stableford

Toni Markham took the top honours in Division 1 with 31 points after countback from Daniel Harrison in second while Terry Earl was third, 3 points further back. In Division 2, 37 points took top spot, scored by Jon Helme, 2 points ahead of Paul Harvey in second while David Saw was third with 34 points.

Time to take stock

Come Friday we'll be in December which means the end of the year is in sight. Whether you’ve had a stellar 12 months on the course like Justin Thomas or have seen your handicap rise throughout 2017, it’s time to look ahead as to what 2018 may deliver.

It’s always interesting to set yourself a goal for the following year, whether that’s to win your first competition, buy yourself some new clubs (custom fitted, of course!) or simply get out on the course more often.
