Titleist Blitz Event
We will be holding a Titleist Blitz Event on Friday, 27 March. This will take place between 3:00 - 7:00pm.
This is a perfect event for you to try out all the latest array of Titleist Clubs which include: Titleist 915 range and the SM5 wedges. The event will have the following:
- Titleist surefit systems of interchangeable heads and shafts.
- Expert Fitter
- GC2 Launch Monitor

The golf team have been in talks with the senior section recently as they are looking to increase their numbers. If you are interested in joining up with the seniors section please speak to a member of the team in the pro shop.

Titleist for 2015
In 2015, Titleist introduce the New 915 Driver and Fairway woods alongside the new 714 irons. On Friday 27th March (as mentioned above) we have scheduled a Titleist fitting event here at Oulton Hall Golf Academy. Every session includes Trackman technology to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction. All of the equipment below will be available for testing with a variety of different shafts.

Get some bounce into your game!
Acting like an insurance policy, one aspect of a wedge that is often misunderstood is the BOUNCE angle. In simple terms, the bounce angle of any club is designed to help with the club/ground interaction.
Most commonly discussed and with options in wedges from 48 degrees upwards, the bounce of a wedge is a very important aspect as different grass and sand conditions can make playing with the wrong bounce very difficult.An easy way to think about bounce is that lower bounce is preferred on hard ground whilst higher bounce is preferred on softer ground.

With only two weeks to go until the 2015 Masters Tournament at Augusta, I thought I’d put pen to paper and make a bit of a prediction for the Masters in early April.
